Public & Products Liability Insurance

Covers you for your legal liability to pay compensation due to injury to a third party or damage to their property in the course of carrying out your business.

Building & Contents Insurance

Damage to Buildings or Contents

This section covers Loss of or Damage to the Business Property at the Business Premises caused by the events listed under Defined Events Cover and Accidental Damage Cover, for example a fire or storm.

Business Interruption

This section covers loss of Revenue or Gross Profit and/or additional / increase in cost of working resulting from interruption of or interference with the Business as a result of a Business Property claim (e.g. Fire, Storm).

Additional Increased Cost of Working

Covers costs associated with avoiding or diminishing a reduction in income due to a property claim (e.g. Additional Rent and Moving costs)

Money

This section covers Loss of or Damage to the Business Money whilst on the Business Premises in a Safe or Strongroom, in transit to or from the Premises, or in your personal custody, or the custody of a trusted employee.

Theft

This section covers Loss of or Damage to your Contents, Stock or Specified Items due to theft

Glass

This section covers Accidental Breakage of Glass at the Business Premises.

General Property

This section covers Loss of or Damage to portable items of property, which you usually carry around with You in the course of the Business, which occurs anywhere in Australia or the rest of the world.

Machinery and Electronic Breakdown

This section covers damage to Machinery, Computer Equipment and Electronic Equipment due to a breakdown.

Management Liability Insurance (Incl. Directors & Officers)

Provides cover for third party claims against the Business and/or its Directors and Officers for breach of duty in the management of the Business, and any Claim by employees against the Business e.g Sexual Harassment, Unfair Dismissal or Bullying – automatically includes Tax Audit and Employee Dishonesty if taken.

Tax Audit

This section covers the professional fees incurred in connection with an audit or investigation of the Business tax affairs by any authority authorised to do so, for example the Australian Taxation office.

Employee Dishonesty

This section covers you against Loss of Money, negotiable instruments or goods due to any act(s) of fraud or dishonesty committed by an employee for their own gain or the financial benefit of any other person or organisation.

Policy Features

Price

Business Insurance premiums are determined by your Occupation, Employee numbers and Turnover and all insurers charge a minimum premium in this regard.

We believe we have negotiated highly competitive Business Insurance premiums, and will continue to monitor premium levels available in the market to ensure this remains the case.

Purpose

For your own protection you should have a minimum level of Public Liability (PL) insurance. In the event that you injure a third party or damage their property in the course of carrying out your business a claim against you could be significant. PL insurance will protect you in the event that this occurs.

Convenience

We have designed the large and small business insurance application process so it only takes an average of 5 minutes to complete your application. In most cases your application will be instantly approved online, and you can print your Confirmation of Insurance to prove to clients and prospects that you have the requisite cover in place... It's that easy!! All other documentation, such as your tax invoice, policy schedule and wording will be emailed directly to you for your records.

If the policy can't be issued immediately because we require further information, we will contact you generally on the same day.

Renewal

Approximately one month prior to the renewal of your large or small business insurance policy you will receive a renewal reminder email with a link that will allow you to review your previous years cover and renew the policy even quicker!

* We have minimized the number of referral situations so that most applications will be automatically accepted. However, if you do have prior claims or provide services to high risk industries we will contact you to facilitate completion of your application personally with the Insurer.

Transit Insurance is general insurance that covers the moving of commercial (business goods) or household goods (personal belongings) both within Australia and Overseas by various modes of transport (e.g. Land, Sea, Rail). The Transit Insurance covers damage and/or loss of property whilst in transit.
